Our food for today comes from Eckhat Tolle, author and spiritual teacher, who believes that spiritual awakening lies with the transformation of consciousness. A spiritual awakening that is seen as the next step in human evolution. He believes the essential part of this awakening includes transcending our ego-based state of consciousness, which leads not only to personal happiness, but inner peace.

I am sure most of you have heard, seen, or perhaps witnessed the violence around the world and more recently the chaos that is occurring in Egypt. With so much hate, greed, selfishness, and disregard for life, one has to wonder, "Where has the love gone?" No matter the religous denomination or belief, love is universal.
